The weights have been calculated and the Recycle Warehouse has sold in excess of 600 tonnes of goods in the last 5 years. That's approximately 86 double decker buses! Imagine what a massive hole in the ground that lot would take.
Pretty good work for a small community organisation with a handful of staff and massive reliance on volunteers. Thanks to all that hard work 600 tonnes of household goods are now happily re-scattered around the houses of Leamington residents, who are using it all over again.
Lets hope when they fancy a change it gets donated to the re-useful centre, so it can continue on its sustainable journey; from owner, to owner to owner.
If furniture and crockery could speak thay'd have a lot of stories to tell. If you are the proud owner of something bought from the Warehouse rest assured it is imbued with history, and is part of a long story that's not over yet...
