Spring Herb Gathering & Remedy Making Workshop:
1 - 3pm, Sunday 10 April at East Lodge Sustainability Centre, Willes Road
Throughout the year there are a feast of herbs on our doorstep that we can use in home remedies. Sadly much of our herbal knowledge has become lost as we depend more on mainstream medicine. Yet there are many ways that we can use herbs in home remedies. Plus it's a lot of fun!
At this fun and informal session we will:
* gather seasonal herbs such as nettles, dandelions, nettles
* make a herbal vinegar
* make a herbal salve
You will need:
* bag for collecting herbs and gloves (especially for nettles!)
* a clean jar for vinegar making, plus enough apple cider vinegar to fill it
* a clean mini jar (e.g. - lip balm jar) for salve
£3 to cover salve ingredients & hand out.
The workshop will be run by Elizabeth Marsh of Amiya Natural Beauty
Places are limited so please let us know beforehand.
This session is a collaboration by Action 21, Transition Town Leamington and local business Amiya Natural Beauty.
