Randalising!

Designer Richard Randall has offered his support to Action 21’s Re-Useful Centre, which recently opened its doors to customers for an extra day every week. On 23rd September from 2pm Richard was at the Re-Useful Centre, promoting re-use and talking to people.

Richard Randall has been designing all of his adult life, and for the past 14 years has been creating all sorts of wonderful interiors on TV, from the Big Breakfast to ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover. Richard’s catch phrase is always “Randalise, don’t vandalise”, and he specialises transforming old pieces of furniture into cutting-edge masterpieces. He is on a mission along with Action 21 to recycle and re-use and wants to get everyone being creative and making furniture over that would otherwise go to landfill.

Richard says: “Action 21 is an amazing organisation and I feel honoured to work alongside such a fantastic inspirational group! I love to be creative and my involvement with them enables me to show others how to make a huge difference to their home from furniture that would otherwise be skipped. Living in Warwickshire myself and appreciating what a delightful part of the country it is I feel it’s my right to put something back into the community.....so let’s get Randalising not Vandalising on a big scale!!”
